We are always honoured to be asked to arrange flowers to accompany the funeral of a loved one and find floral tributes to be one of the most important and meaningful arrangements we create.
Our funeral flowers, whether in the form of a single or double casket spray, funeral wreath, Church flowers or bouquet, are all in our signature garden-gathered and natural style, using stems freshly harvested and arranged in an environmentally friendly, sustainable way.
We never use plastic floral foam in our designs and prefer to create more compostable arrangements, which work very well for natural burials as well. We can also include plants within an arrangement such as a casket spray, that can be replanted by the family in their garden following the funeral, if they so wish.
We are committed to growing our flowers and foliage without the use of harmful chemicals and pesticides, and instead adopt a more natural and environmentally kind approach, which we try to continue throughout the design process for all of our work.
All of the flowers and foliage that we use here at The Flowered Garden are grown by us and come directly from our flower farm, or, when the need arises are sourced from other British growers, having made the decision from the outset not to use imported stems. We work with the seasons, growing what is naturally available at any given time of year, therefore every arrangement is unique to you and to the season in which it is created.
We take on every commission with a sense of great reverence and strive to create flowers that bring a small amount of joy and natural beauty to an otherwise very difficult time.
